Roll Call – Mayor Lattimore, Councilors McNabb, Jacobs, Dempsey and Hunter; present.
Staff Members Present – John Salomone, City Manager; Thomas Leone, Corporation Counsel; Debra McCormick, City Clerk; Lisa Green, Comptroller, Police Chief Gary Giannotta, Frank De Orio, Municipal Utilities, Bill Lupien, City Engineer, Steve Lynch, Planning Director, Police Officers Hutchinson, Bergerstock, and Platt.
All stood for the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
Mayor Lattimore commented on the news that Father Peter DeBellis will be leaving the community.

Work Session
The City Manager and Police Chief discuss the issues that commercial vehicles present to the community when they are not checked for weight limits and safety requirements. Chief Giannotta introduced Officers Hutchinson, Bergerstock and Platt. These officers used a power point presentation and handouts to explain their plans to enforce commercial vehicle laws. The officers discussed public safety and road deterioration issues that are a result of not enforcing commercial vehicle laws. They explained to Council how they plan to manage and increase efforts to enforce laws going forward.

Public to be Heard
Vicki Trojnor, 19 Chase St., spoke to Council about he traffic light that was removed from the intersection of Pulaski, and State Street. She asked why the neighborhood was not informed. She passed out pictures to council.
Other Business
Council Resolution #98 of 2005 directing staff to submit a grant application to the NYS Department of State Environmental Protection Fund 2005-06 funding round for the Owasco Waterfront Kayak and Anglers Park. Vote: Mayor Lattimore, Councilors Jacobs, McNabb, Hunter and Dempsey, aye. CARRIED.
